No, forget about it. The requirements are very clear, and very reasonable, they are for a midrange PC after all. Unless you have a gaming laptop, I'm not sure why you chose to try it anyways, you can't play a modern game without a proper graphics card.Even if they do optimize the game, the requirements are not likely to go down, they are already pretty low for a modern game of this scope. As far as waiting for optimizations, even the best integrated GPU is at best (guesstimating) less than half the performance of a measly GTX460, which is weak to strt with.Making comparrisons with RCT3 is not a good idea, either. First of all, it's not true that the game 'just looks slightly better', but more importantly, the complexity both in terms of graphics and game is on a completely different level, not to mention the fact that the game used a notoriously heavy engine (look at what happened with Dreamfall Chapters)Laptops are not for gaming, not even casual, and expecting a complex simulation game to run on a cheap laptop or an expensive non-gamer laptop is optimistic at best.

It runs fairly okay on midrange to lower setups - not perfect but just below what should be expected. The game is quite clearly barely optimised and will/should improve if the devs bother to work on the title any further. Well the reason I bought the game is that I would have bought it anyway in the future.
(When having a more powerful device)When you look at the second respond in the pinned Thread 'minimum system requirements' it states that a gpu with 1gb RAM should be enough.I have a GeForce 750m, it's clearly weaker than the GTX460 but it has 2 gb RAM. (that was a the reason why I hoped it would run)In my device the gpu clearly is the bottleneck.I agree on that comparing RCT3 is a bit naive, but to me RCTW really looks slightly better (speaking of playing at lowest settings)You're right I missed to think about that RCTW is programmed using another engine. However, I also agree on that laptops are primarily not designed to play games. But it's all about making money and I think that atari would benefit from it when the game could run on laptops.btw I usually prefer consoles, but RCTW is one of the few games that I would love to play even on pc. One of the really big problems with laptops and gaming is thermal management. If you have a 750m in a laptop not designed for intensive gaming, your system will never use it to its full potential. The issue is in most office/consumer laptops the cooling doesn't allow for both max cpu and max gpu, generally they share a single fan using heatpipes. Running both cpu and gpu intensive tasks at the same time will produce more heat than the heatsink/fan combo can deal with, so manufacturers use smart thermal management systems to throttle back the clock speeds of the cpu and gpu to prevent your laptop from overheating. This prevents you from using the full potential of your machine when gaming, this is even more true in simulation games that are both gpu and cpu intensive as apposed to games Like COD that are mainly gpu.The trick is to look out for a laptop that has independent cooling of the gpu and cpu.Hope this helps. I was merely explaining what can be expected, what can't be expected, and why.@FusionFXUnfortunately ram is not the problem with very low-end or old GPUs, especially because RCTW isn't very demanding in memory. Unfortunately the bottleneck is in the processing power. When you are facing a similar question in the future, just look for rating websites, search for instance 'GTX460 vs GeForce 750m' and you'll find an overall score comparrison. If below of more than a handful of points to the min spec, you can expect a poor experience.@Mjfsch you still need the raw processing power. It's good advice in general, but it won't turn a 970M to a 980M.
